Why Tru Plumbing and Gas?

The Importance of Quality Water Heater Installation & Repair

Call an experienced plumber when you need a new water heater, or your current one isn’t working. Our technicians are experienced with all types of water heaters and issues that can arise.

We provide same-day service, upfront pricing, and financing from trusted providers. With Tru Plumbing and Gas, your hot water needs come first.

Gas Valve Failure: Is your gas water heater not producing hot water? The gas valve may have failed, especially if the pilot light won’t stay lit.

Broken Thermostat: The water heater thermostat may need replacement if you’re not getting hot water, but the heating elements are working.

Heating Element Failure: Sediment buildup can cause heating elements to fail. We offer complimentary annual flushes (for tanked models) and 50% off tankless unit flushes for plan members.

Tripped Breaker: Check your water heater’s breaker switch. Reset it if it tripped. If this isn’t the problem, call us to inspect and, if necessary, replace the heating element.

EXPERT WATER HEATER INSTALLATION & REPAIR IN NICEVILLE

Pilot Light Is Out

A gas water heater’s pilot light ignites the gas from the main burner. If it goes out, the system won’t heat the water flowing through. To address the issue:

Inspect the Pilot Light: The pilot light should be blue, not yellow or red, flickering, or wavering. If so, dirt, an air draft, lack of airflow, or a combustion problem are possible.

Relight the Pilot Light: Try to relight the flame, following the instructions in the manual. First, turn the pilot knob off and wait 5-10 minutes.

If the pilot flame doesn’t stay lit, your water heater may be dirty, or the thermocouple may have failed. Our plumbers can determine the source of the issue and make water heater repairs.

Other issues they can help with include:

Not enough hot water.

Leaks due to corrosion, loose valves, or poor connections.

Water with odors or that appears rusty.

Water Heater Installation Services

Not sure what type of water heater you need? Let us find the best options for you.

Tank water heaters are still the most common. We install electric and gas models, first finding units with the right capacity to meet your home’s hot water demands.

Once we evaluate your options and you select a water heater, we’ll set a date; then our trustworthy plumbers will install your new system.

Are you in the market for a tankless water heater? It’s a more efficient option that delivers hot water on demand. The higher investment can save on energy costs over time.
